An Introduction to NLP
Do you ever set yourself goals that you know you really have no intention of achieving? Do you find yourself getting in to the same arguments over and over again? Have you ever wondered if your colleagues really do come from another planet?! If so, this is the event for you. It has been designed to give you an understanding of what NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is all about and more importantly what it can do for you. During the sessions you will learn some great techniques and useful tips to take away with you. You will also get a greater understanding of NLP and also how you can take your personal development further. Workshops will be challenging but fun with lots of opportunity for interaction, practice and learning reinforcement.

Welcome, introductions and objectives
The communication model - Understanding the process by which people communicate and how easily errors can occur within this process.
The presuppositions of NLP - NLP uses a set of presuppositions which can be helpful to create change in self and others.
Building rapport - Examining the rapport building model and how this can be used to enhance relationships and improve communications in face to face, telephone and e-mail conversations.
Well-formed outcomes - How to create desirable and meaningful goals for yourself and others, with a compelling outcome.
The Meta Mirror - A technique to create change in a difficult relationship and develop multiple perspectives on a situation.
Representational Systems - Understanding one of the key meta-programmes that drives how you describe the world around you and how this can be used to understand people better.
Creating a positive anchor - Using a fundamental tool within NLP to create a desirable state change in yourself, at will!

Timings: 9am to 5pm for the day
Number of participants: We can accommodate up to 10 participants during each 1 day programme
Cybèle team: 1 trainer for the day
Equipment needed: Training room large enough to house 10 people comfortably with space for smaller group work and room to move around. Also 2 x flipcharts & paper; projector and screen please.
Programme materials: Will be supplied by Cybèle including joining instructions for distribution in advance of the programme.
