Mentoring – the Role of a Mentee

Duration

2 hours

Who is this for?

The workshop will benefit anyone who has been identified as suitable for mentoring in their organisation. It will enable mentees to take responsibility for their personal growth by ensuring they are clear about the goals of the programme, their role within it and the attitude required to be effectively mentored.

Course content

Often there is an assumption that being a mentor is active whilst being a mentee is passive i.e. the mentor takes the mentee ‘under their wing’ and the mentee takes very little ownership for the relationship and experience. By ensuring mentees have clear expectations and understand their responsibility and contribution to the relationship, the programme can maximise the benefits gain.
