Cybèle is proud to partner with Diverse Abilities – Dorset’s leading disability charity, which has been a lifeline for children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities for more than 70 years. In that time, their specialist teams have delivered over 8 million hours of care, education and support, wrapping around families who are often emotionally and physically exhausted by the demands of full-time care.As part of our commitment to positive social impact,
Cybèle has developed a programme of on-site confidence and wellbeing workshops for parents, helping them rebuild confidence, share experiences, and create space for self-care.

These two-hour group sessions provide practical tools for confidence-building, emotional resilience and connection — because when parents feel supported, families thrive. The initial workshops have now launched, with plans already in place to continue the programmes throughout 2026.

For seven decades, Diverse Abilities has supported hundreds of families through a range of services, including:

Langside School – specialist education for children with complex disabilities and medical needs

Lily’s Place – respite care offering short breaks and relief for parents

Treehouse – family support hub offering sibling care, play spaces & memory-making

Transition & Adult Support – including supported living and The Beehive, Dorset’s only activity centre for adults with disabilities and on-site nursing care
