Overview

Gone are the days when people stay with the same company for their entire career, slowly building up their network. Gone also are the days where companies are based in one location, where everyone knows everyone else. It remains true however that success in business still relies as much on who you know, as what you know. Information was power, now relationships are recognised as the key to high performing teams and companies. In a competitive market the one thing your competitors cannot mimic is your relationships, your network. Networks are a prime source of referrals business to business, between businesses and customers. Often forgotten are internal networks, highly effective ways to get things done within companies. The thing is, not all of us are instinctive networkers. Are you aware of your network? Do you know how to actively expand it? How often do you utilise it to full effect?
